Warranty

Warranty Terms for Purchases Made On or After 01/10/2025
(For orders placed prior to this date, please refer to the previous warranty terms at the bottom of this page)

 


24 Month (2 Year) Warranty on all components 

 

Deposits / Payments

  • Deposits for custom designed products are not refundable once construction has commenced.
  • Holding deposits for stocked items are non-refundable.

  • Deposits for powder coatings are non-refundable.

  • Deposits for installation bookings are non-refundable. If you cannot make your booking, please contact us at your earliest convenience.

  • No product will leave our premises until cleared payment is received.

  • All products remain property of Eureka Canopies until paid in full.

  • If paying via online bank transfer, ensure payment has cleared before collection.

Change of Mind Returns

  • We will accept a change-of-mind return within 7 days of your order, provided the product is in as-new condition and has not been installed.

  • A 20% restocking fee will apply (unless otherwise discussed or stated on your invoice).

  • The customer is responsible for all return transport and associated costs.


Product Warranty

  • For orders after 01/10/2025. If your order was prior to this date, please refer to our previous warranty terms (At the bottom of the page).

  • Products include a 24-month (2 year) warranty from the date of purchase (as shown on your invoice).

  • Warranty covers all structural and mechanical aspects, including: locks, gas struts, hinges, drawers, drawer runners, etc.

  • Our products are intended for both commercial and private use.

  • Clearance products are covered by a 12-month warranty only.



Shipping & Transit Responsibility

All products shipped via freight or depot collection must be fully inspected before signing or accepting delivery. Once the freight has been signed for, collected, or removed from the depot, Eureka Canopies will not be liable for any transit damage, dents, scratches or missing components. It is the customer’s responsibility to refuse delivery or immediately notify the driver / depot if damage is visible at the time of arrival. Transit insurance is optional and not included by default if you wish to add insurance to your order, you must request this prior to dispatch. Failure to follow these procedures may void any eligibility for transport related claims.

 


Warranty Exclusions

Warranty is not transferable and is only valid for the original purchaser named on the invoice.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or negligence.

  • Damage caused by natural disasters or severe weather events.

  • Surface damage (powder coating, scratches, or other wear/defects over time). These must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the product, otherwise considered natural wear and tear.

  • Theft or attempted theft of items, or damage caused by theft.

  • Damage from heavy off-road use, competition, or extreme conditions.

Warranty becomes void if:

  • Product is used for unintended purposes or altered in any way.

  • Installation is unsatisfactory or not completed to guidelines.

  • Product is incorrectly installed by yourself or a third party.

Other conditions:

  • Promotional giveaway items are not covered by warranty.

  • Clearance products are limited to a 12-month warranty.

  • Roof top tents are limited to a 12-month warranty.



Warranty Conditions

  • All warranty claims are repairs only.

  • All warranties are return-to-base, return freight costs are the purchaser’s responsibility.

  • Repairs to powder coated products will be touched up with paint, not re-powder coated.

  • Canopies, trays, or accessories may need to be removed for repair.

  • Customers must remove any aftermarket accessories not fitted by Eureka Canopies prior to warranty claims. Eureka will not cover associated costs.

  • No coverage for transport expenses, loss of work, or personal possessions due to warranty repairs.

  • No acceptance of third-party repairs.

  • Repairs will be completed within a reasonable timeframe.

  • All defects must be reported within 7 days of discovery. If the issue worsens due to delayed reporting, your claim may be denied.


Installation Requirements

  • Canopies and toolboxes must be installed minimum 150 × 150 mm in from the corners failure to follow this may void warranty.

  • Professional installation by Eureka Canopies is strongly recommended. Incorrect installation by yourself or a third party may void warranty.

  • Strongly recommend placing a rubber mat under the canopy.

  • Canopies must be installed directly to the vehicle tray OR with a full-surface rubber mat. Other packing materials are not permitted.

  • Jack-off clamps must be checked before every trip to ensure secure fastening. These are not for off-road use.

  • Routinely check all bolts and locks are tightened and adjusted. As vehicles are driven on harsh Australian roads, bolts may loosen over time. While sufficient bolts are fitted, general maintenance is required to prevent product or vehicle damage. Eureka will not be liable for damage caused by lack of maintenance.


Roof Top Tents

  • Roof top tents are prone to mould when closed while wet (especially enclosed hard lid tents).

  • Customers must ensure the tent is completely dry before closing.

  • Mould issues are not covered under warranty.


Making a Claim

  • If a problem occurs, bring the product in immediately for assessment. Continuing use may cause further damage not covered under warranty.

  • All claims must be submitted via email to sales@eurekacanopies.com.au. Please include:

    • Copy of your receipt

    • Photos of the issue

    • Contact number

  • We will contact you to arrange assessment.


Vehicle Accessory Removal Policy

  • Prior to installation, customers should remove any accessories from their vehicle.

  • If requested, Eureka may assist in removal, but we are not liable for any damage caused.

  • Some vehicles may require manufacturer calibration after tub/accessory removal this is the customer’s responsibility.

  • Storage is not provided for removed accessories. Items left uncollected for more than 5 days after vehicle pickup will be disposed of without notice.


Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

(These terms only apply to orders placed before 01/10/2025. Orders placed on or after this date are covered by the updated warranty above.)

Product Warranty

  • Products have a warranty of 12 months from date of purchase as shown on your invoice
  • All warranties are strictly return to base warranty
  • Warranty is not transferable and is only valid for original purchaser named on invoice
  • If required, we may have to remove your canopy to repair it
  • The customer must remove any aftermarket accessories (not fitted by us) for a warranty claim. We will not be liable for any expense incurred due to this
  • Cosmetic marks and general wear and tear are not covered
  • We will endeavor to repair the product in the quickest time frame possible
  • All warranty claims are in the form of a repair only
  • We will not accept a third party repairing the product
  • A warranty claim may be declined if the product has been misused
  • Any off-road hits or hard off-road use structural damage voids warranty
  • Spare wheel mounted on side of canopy where no bracing has been installed to support it voids warranty
  • Powder coating is a wear & tear item and not covered by warranty
  • Any repairs will be touched up with paint, not powder coating
  • Canopies are to be installed 150 x 150mm in from the corners
  • We recommend rubber mat be placed under the canopy
  • Canopies must be installed directly to the vehicles tray OR with a rubber mat that covers the entire surface area, no other packing materials should be used
  • Warranty may be void if installation is incorrect
  • All products remain property of Eureka Canopies until Paid in Full
  • Cleared payment is required before any products are released
  • Jack off clamps should be checked before every trip to ensure they are securely fastened
  • Jack off clamps are not for off-road use
  • Routinely ensure all bolts are fastened and tightened
  • Roof top tents are prone to mould when wet, especially enclosed hard lid tents. If tent is not 100% dry when closed it may get mouldy. It is the customers duty of care to ensure the tent is fully dry before closing. Mould issues are not covered under warranty.

If a problem occurs with your purchase, please bring the product in immediately for assessment. We will not be liable for further damage from continued use after an issue has initially occurred. All warranty claims are to be submitted via email (sales@eurekacanopies.com.au), please send through your receipt and photos of the issue and your contact number, we will be in contact at our earliest convenience to arrange assessment.


Vehicle Accessory Removal Policy

Prior to installation, it is advised that you remove any accessories from your vehicle. If requested, Eureka can assist in the removal of these items, however; we cannot be held liable for any damage incurred during the process. Depending on the model of your vehicle removing the tub/accessories may require you to go to the manufacture for calibration, at your expense.

Please note that we are unable to provide storage for removed accessories. Any items left uncollected for more than 5 days after vehicle pickup will be disposed of without prior notification.
